Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for DeskGreet (“we”, “us”, “our”), the inbound AI receptionist service. It applies to all purchases made through our website and dashboard. Payments and refunds are processed by our payment provider and merchant of record, Paddle. This policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
New accounts include a 15-day free trial with a $10 starting credit and no card required up front. We encourage you to use the trial to confirm the Service fits your business before you pay. Because of the trial, most customers can fully evaluate DeskGreet without any charge.
2. Monthly subscription
- The monthly plan ($39/month, including 100 voice minutes and 1,000 messages) is billed in advance for each billing period.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period.
- Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for unused minutes, messages, or days remaining in a period — except where a refund is required by applicable law.
- If you believe you were billed in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation), contact us and we will investigate and refund any incorrect charge.
3. One-time bundles (minutes & messages)
- Minute bundles ($15 for +100 voice minutes) and message bundles ($5 for +1,000 messages) are one-time purchases that top up your balance immediately.
- Because the added allowance is made available to your account right away, bundle purchases are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or in the case of a clear billing error.
- Bundle balances remain available while your subscription is active and are forfeited if the subscription lapses.
4. Phone number add-on
- The phone number add-on ($5/month per number) is billed in advance each month and renews with your subscription.
- You can remove a number at any time to stop future charges; fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable.
- Number availability and porting are subject to our upstream telecom provider; if we are unable to provision a number you paid for, we will refund that charge in full.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund or raise a billing question, email hello@deskgreet.com (or use our contact form) with your account email and the charge in question. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Paddle; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Accounts with an unresolved chargeback may be suspended until the matter is settled.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Where such laws apply, they take precedence over this policy.
